Though motion pictures have evolved and expanded over the last century, one thing remains clear:  only two of the five senses can be used to affect an audience. How, then, can these two senses be combined to achieve the highest possible emotional threshold? How can light reflected into our eyes and invisible waves striking our ears bring us to tears, to laughter, to horror, to joy? How can we, as human beings, unite both sight and sound to create one single experience, one single composition impossible to divorce into two? These are sketches of synesthesia, interpretations of the work of others and studies of my own making. Synthesis.
